Tycheros
Koss, Tacha
Firebox
Rail Jack
Railroad spike-like horns sticking through conductor's cap
Born into a poor Tycherosi family, he grew up swiping anything unattended—more out of impulse than need. Gained a local reputation for petty theft and general mischief. His fascination with trains began young, after watching one reduce a man to pulp during a trip with his grandfather.
School didn’t take—he preferred scraped knuckles to scratched paper. With no prospects, his family forced him into work as a Void Gate Sentry. Dangerous job, but it kept him out of the house and gave him an outlet for his temper.
Eventually slipped away from Tycheros entirely—jumped a train and didn’t look back. Worked as a rail jack for a while before moving into demolition. Now takes odd jobs involving fire, explosions, and destruction. Will return to honest work when coin’s tight, but chaos is his comfort zone.
Restless and impulsive, he prefers fists and fire over talking things out. Struggles with authority and usually ends a disagreement by setting something ablaze.
Stays sober—says booze messes with his hands—but loves watching others lose control. Has an obsessive love for trains and heavy machinery. Still pockets things when bored.
Terrible at lying or cheating. Morbidly curious about death and ghosts, though no Spirit-Warden alerts yet.
Learns by doing, often painfully. Not smart, but dangerously good with fire, tools, and destruction. Lives by "waste not" and "blow it up if it don't work."
